Littles   is a 4-year-old male Lab/Pit mix who likes people and loves toy play. He does great in public and is a world-class sunbather, even when in the middle of a crowd. Littles is a quick learner and aims to please. He's our best "tricks" dog when our junior volunteers want to train. Littles loves our group walks although we believe he will do best in an only-dog household as he gets too excited in a play group. He weighs 59 lbs.

Dave and Duke
These happy, loving fellows are a bonded pair and we would love to see them adopted to the same home, but will separate if needed.

Dave is an energetic 3-year-old Chi/Terrier mix, 13 lbs.  Dave is crate-trained and housebroken, playful with other dogs, likes adults and we're told he's calm with children.  Unknown on cats.

Duke is a 4-year-old male German Shepherd, 86 lbs, crate-trained and housebroken. We're told he's calm and loving around adults and children, enjoys being petted and gets along with other nice dogs.  Unknown on cats. Duke and Dave love to go for walks together.

Tawny is a 9-year-old female Belgian Malinois. Tawny is social with other dogs, house and crate-trained, rides well in a car. As with many Malinois, she needs to be introduced correctly to strangers.  She will walk around with something in her mouth when she isn't crashed out on the floor at your feet or on your bed. This is a great companion for an adult household. Not willing to live with cats.

Genevieve is a 5-year-old beauty. She looks like a greyhound/Great Dane mix at 70 lbs. She's good with dogs and lovable and friendly with people she knows but is a bit nervous or defensive about strangers and needs careful introduction. Genevieve loves her toys, especially her squeaky toys. She does fine on walks and is crate- and house trained. She is perfect for an adult household who wants a protective and loving dog.

Jade is a lovely, sable 6-year-old female German shepherd princess, an easy walk looking for a quiet person to hang out with. Jade takes a while to show her loving side and her lap-sitting skills and then she'll connect. She would love to go home to a house with no other dogs or a polite canine gentleman.  Jade weighs 70 lbs.

Bailey is a 3-year-old male Border collie mix, 50 lbs. Bailey loves playing ball and hanging out with his people. He loves being outdoors … he'd be a great ranch or farm dog. Too gregarious to be a mainly inside dog. Bailey is tolerant of other nice dogs but not good with cats. Bailey is affectionate but watch out for his power kisses, so he's not a fit for people not wanting an energetic dog. Has not been around children regularly but seems to be okay.

Quigley is a sweet 7 1/2 year-old  terrier/chi mix, 11 lbs.  Quigley loves to play fetch and tug-o-war and just cuddle with you. He is very, very loving and loyal to his person. Quigley likes to go on walks -- a mile and a half is easy -- and does well with most other dogs. He can decide that your lap is his lap which he'll protect and refuse to share, so best with quiet older family like which he had originally.

Rosemary  is a 4-year-old Shepherd mix. What a pal! She loves to go on walks ... she's a very easy ride ... and is always up for a game of fetch or tug-of-war (she knows the "out" command to give up her toy) with adults or dog-savvy youngsters. If you get tired of fetch, she'll be content happily rolling on her back in the grass while playing with her favorite stuffed bear. Rosemary has been an outside dog.

Monte is a 6-year-old male Belgian Malinois, 65 lbs., a perfect house dog and reliable around dogs. He can be a total goofball around people but a bit nervous too so we are always aware about setting up his introductions well. We see him belonging to a quiet adult household. Contact  Augusta Farley for details, 209-402-8343.

Minnie   the 9-month-old chihuahua is an absolute hoot! So entertaining. She'll put on her own little floor show when enjoying a favorite toy, then leap onto your lap for some pats and kisses. She's only 8 lbs., so it's not like a bowling ball drops from the sky. Minnie loves everyone. She's doing great on leash and especially likes to walk with her good friend Quigley the terrier/chi.
